Watching from Afar

This is a photo of Rhoda Sabatchi. She is standing in front of an enormous green bush. She's wearing a beige jacket, a white blouse, black jeans, brown boots and aviator sunglasses. The light is very bright and somewhat harsh. This shot was a commercial shot and my purpose was to create a fashion shot. She is positioned more towards one side of the photo to comply with the rule-of-thirds. The vivid green of the bush contrasts with her clothes and the darkness of her jeans and boots creates contrast against the bright white floor. My intentions for this photo was to make her look like a model posing for the camera to advertise her ensemble. I believe this photo is successful.
